In 2004, Tom Caltabiano guest-hosted CBS's The Late Late Show. He also hosted the live stage show Everybody Loves Raymond: Inside The Writers Room-an evening featuring Phil Rosenthal and the Raymond writers discussing how they turned their real-life stories into 210 episodes of a sitcom. Inside The Writers Room has appeared at many venues including HBO's The Comedy Festival in Las Vegas and Montreal's Just For Laughs Festival.

In 2006, Caltabiano was a consulting producer on ABC's Emily's Reasons Why Not, and was a writer on the 2008 and 2009 Primetime Creative Arts Emmys.

Caltabiano is also an accomplished photographer. His photos have appeared in publications such as TV Guide, Variety, The Los Angeles Times, and The Hollywood Reporter. He appeared as a photographer in the Everybody Loves Raymond episode Robert's Wedding, Part II. The photos he took during the filming were used in a montage at the end of that episode. Tom took over 30,000 behind-the-scenes photos during his nine years on Everybody Loves Raymond, and a book of these photos - Everybody Loves Raymond: Our Family Album-was published by Simon & Schuster in 2004. His location photographs are also featured in the companion cookbook for PBS's The Kimchi Chronicles, in which Marja Vongerichten and three-star Michelin chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten give viewers an insider's look at Korea as they travel the country and experience its authentic flavors and cultural traditions.
